Job Description.
Key tasks include:
1. Conduct structural inventory for Major Bridges, Minor Bridges, Culverts (Slab, Box, Pipe, etc.).
2. Assess existing field conditions, take and verify measurements within the project area.
3. Determine the design discharge, span arrangement, type of foundation, and depth of foundation for structures like Major Bridges, Minor Bridges, Culverts.
4. Prepare Hydraulic detailed design reports for structures as per codal provision and site requirements.
5. Design drainages including Lined and Unlined Drain as per Codal Provision.
6. Develop Embankment Protection schedule, Scour Protection Schedule as per Codal Provision.
7. Design drainage profile as per Codal provision and Agreement Schedule & Site Requirements.
Requirements.
1. Post-Graduation in Hydraulics & Water Resources Engineering / Hydraulics Engineering or Degree in Civil Engineering (essential).
2. Proven work experience as a Hydraulic Engineer (essential).
3. Proficiency in relevant software.
4. Familiarity with hydraulic modeling, analysis, and design.
5. Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
6. Strong three-dimensional conceptual skills.
7. Detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines.
8. Excellent communication and IT skills.
