✓ Job Description.

The General Manager in Road Infrastructure oversees all aspects of road construction projects, engaging with Various Metro Departments like UPMRC/DMRC/MPMRCL, ensuring regulatory compliance, stakeholder engagement, project management, quality assurance, budget management, health, safety, and environmental standards.


✓ Responsibilities.


1. Stakeholder Engagement.

   - Represent the company in meetings with Various Metro Departments like UPMRC/DMRC/MPMRCL.

   - Foster positive relationships with local communities.

   - Act as a liaison between the company and external stakeholders.

   

2. Regulatory Compliance.

   - Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, permits, and licenses.

   - Implement and enforce company policies and procedures.

   

3. Project Management.

   - Provide strategic leadership and direction to project teams.

   - Coordinate with internal departments, subcontractors, and consultants.

   - Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions.

   

4. Quality Assurance and Control.

   - Implement quality assurance processes.

   - Conduct regular inspections and audits.

   - Collaborate with engineering and quality control teams.

   

5. Budget and Cost Management.

   - Oversee budget development and cost estimation.

   - Review and approve project budgets and financial reports.

   

6. Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE).

   - Promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship.

   - Implement safety programs and training.

   - Investigate and report on safety incidents.

   

7. Performance Monitoring and Coordination.

   - Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.

   - Prepare regular progress reports and presentations.

   - Conduct post-project reviews and lessons learned sessions.


✓ Qualifications.


- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Master's degree preferred.

- Minimum of 15 years of experience in Metro projects, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.

- Strong knowledge of road construction techniques, regulations, and industry best practices.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Familiarity with project management software.
