A .Key Tasks Include :-
1. Developing schematics for structures in accordance with client specifications and safety standards.
2. Designing structures like bridges (major and minor), flyovers, ROB, viaducts, WOP, underpasses, etc., using computer-aided design technology for simulation purposes.
3. Providing technical advice on safe designs and construction.
4. Developing detailed steps for the proper execution of structural projects.
5. Ensuring structural soundness of designs.
6. Assessing and designing foundations.
7. Ensuring compliance with environmental directives, health, and safety requirements.
B. Structural Design Engineer Requirements :-
1. A degree in civil engineering (essential).
2. Registration as a professional engineer (essential).
3. Proficiency in finite element analysis software (e.g., STAAD Pro) and MS Office for developing detailed designs of bridges, flyovers, ROB, viaducts, WOP, underpasses, etc.
4. Ability to collaborate with other engineers.
5. Knowledge of construction materials and legal regulations.
6. Familiarity with various building codes and standards.
7. Experience coordinating with different disciplines and explaining design plans and ideas.
8. Three-dimensional conceptual skills.
9. Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
10. Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.
11. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
12. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
13. Excellent communication and IT skills.
14. Experience: 5+ years
