Position description: Engineer for Highway Design
1) Experience designing highways with MX Road, OpenRoads Designer, Civil 3D, etc. is required of the candidate.
2) Skilled in highway geometry design.
3D modeling and highway design should be proficient with a variety of Autodesk products.
4) Experience in surface modeling and highway design.
5) Capacity to comprehend topographical surveys and the state of the place as it is.
6) Capacity to conduct a roadway condition study and inventory.
7) Alignment, junction, interchange, and drainage design experience.
8) Proficiency in creating comprehensive project reports for NH standards and freeways.
9) Knowledge of road markings and traffic signs.
10) Familiarity with IRC codes pertaining to road marking, traffic signs, drainage, junction, and highway design, among other topics.
11) Familiar with numerous pertinent national and international codes.
12) In charge of CAD production, quantity, 3D modeling, highway design, and production.
13) In charge of overseeing the entire project's design and execution for duties pertaining to highway design.
14) Drafting and completing different designs pertaining to highways at different project stages.
15) Design report preparation.
16) Guiding fellow team members.
17) Need to be familiar with building techniques.
18) Need to be proficient in communicating.
19) Need to be proficient in making presentations.
20) Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
21) Prepared for relocation to any location in India.
Experience & Qualifications:
Education B.Tech/B.E. in Civil or MTech in Civil/Transportation after graduation.
Years of experience required at minimum in a design consulting setting.
Software:
Microsoft Office, AutoCad, OpenRoads Designer, and MX Road
